English Setter RescueEnglish Setter Rescue Another chance for English Setters or otherwise called ACES is a nationwide volunteer ran organization that spend their time rescuing abandon, abused, or neglected English Setters. The main goal of ACES once they have the English Setter in their care is to rehabilitate them and find them a home with loving individuals that will take care of them for the rest of their lives. Since this is a non paying organization, the member say that they reap their rewards when they safely place a dog. Since the ACES foundation was started in 1999, the group has successfully, reformed, and placed 1700 dogs. The ACES has been able to help so many English Setters because they have volunteers in twenty eight states. These volunteers no matter what state are very driven to making sure that the dogs are rescued and taken care of. Before the ACES allows any of the dogs to be adopted out, they first get them any medical attention that they may need. The Dog is spayed or neutered if it has not already been done. They are also caught up on any vaccinations that they are missing, along with that they are dewormed, and tested for heartworms. Once the dog is tested, and also passes the temperament tests the adoption process begins. All application are screen by an adoption consoler. The ACES wants to make sure that the dog is place in a good, healthy environment in which they will thrive.
